Maintenance

GEP Trading offers only fully-maintained tower-cranes. Once cranes are returned, its specialized staff performs a full maintenance, with each machine undergoing a complete set of specialized tests. At the end of this maintenance, GEP Trading cranes guarantee operativity, viability and safety.

Our maintenance features:
  • Maintenance is carried out at our site
  • Electric motors are taken apart from the crane: they are opened, reeled-in, equipped with new bearings and brakes. Once re-assembled, the motor is mounted back on the crane and fully tested once more.
  • Pulleys and bearings are replaced, both at the lifting end and at the bogie side
  • Lift and bogie wire-ropes  are replaced.
  • Current is tested in each part of the electrical panel and any consumables are replaced as needed
  • The rotating chassis is greased, externally and internally
  • All safety systems are checked.
